Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Smoky Flat Top from a different angle.  On my way to choir practice.

I accompanied Kathy to an audiologist's office where she underwent some tests to evaluate her balance.  Quite fascinating.  But how might some of these assessments been accomplished before the age of the ubiquitous computer?  During several tests she wore an eye mask with cameras which tracked her eye movements as she followed with her eyes, without moving her head, a dot on a large screen and then her eyes were covered as first warm and then cool air was blown into each ear in turn.  Her eyes on the monitoring computer screen glowed bright blue like the eyes on spice in the film Dune .  Wish I'd had a camera with me then.
