Quiet please - I'm sleeping!

Today Violet spent her usual day with me and that went mostly to the routine that we have found: an extra breakfast (or two) followed by some help with the household chores then a good nap to set her up for lunch and our Sing and Sign session
There were a couple of firsts today though:  the first time that she has gone outside by herself and climbed those steep patio steps ( I WAS very close in attendance throughout!), The first time that she's tested out goving the cat a lick (furry tongue - won't repeat that one) and the first time she has tried to apply felt tip 'eyeliner'.  I rather suspect that the eyeliner episode will  be repeated given the chance!
At the end of the day Violet was one tired little girl. Here she is having a bit of a rest on the furry rug, pretending to sleep, complete with fake snores!
