Salvia cacaliifolia, or Guatemalan Leaf Sage, has migrated from the neighbor's yard over the years and now we have a robust patch under the pear trees. Today was the pop-up farm-to-table community breakfast at the Farmers' Market, part of a series of summer outdoor meals that showcase local produce and local culinary talent. A leisurely three hour chance to visit with new people, learn about farming and food culture and support the Market's education program. Oh, and eat a five course meal. Win-win-win.
