Inside Cardiff Castle Walls

As a resident of Cardiff I have the key to the Castle. In their infinite wisdom the good Burghers of Cardiff decided that anyone who lived or worked in Cardiff could have free entry.

I'd visited the Castle before, but never walked inside the walls. It's cool in there and the chill was most welcome as the 24C (75F, 297K) temperature is too much for me. From within the walls you can see both into the area within the castle walls, and strangely out into the everyday streets.

This is another quiet place in the middle of town, next door to Bute Park, and a cool escape from the business of town.
