Wednesday 25 July 2012: Glanmire Centenary Dives

Today I was diving the wreck of the Glanmire off St Abbs, exactly 100 years after she sank. She ran into rocks in fog en route from Amsterdam to Leith and no lives were lost - if you're interested in the wreck check out the wreck tour (illustrated by blipper Max Ellis).

Here you see my buddy sailfish who is another blipper - she has blipped me today so I thought I'd return the favour. She is illuminated in the lights of other divers in the background - you can just see their bubbles rising to the surface.
