Day-lily in the Sun
Today was open studio day and I painted and had a great time with my friends. I finished a new small abstract painting which you can see in my blog, "Artist at Play."
Yesterday I got a new toy, a Sony DSC-RX100. I'm still learning how to use it. I took this photo of a day-lily when I got home from painting. This is a jpeg right out of the camera. I am very happy with the results. The camera is really small, pocket size. And it has a bigger sensor than all other pocket cameras. I recommended it to Tookie and then realized I wanted one too. ;-) I'm really enjoying it already. Take a look at the large version of this photo.
