St. Basil's Cathedral

Blipped from a distance a while back, this is St Basil's in all its glory. I had a day off from work so played tourist for the day with Linds, who arrived last night.. Did the Kremlin, Alexandrovsky Gardens and Red Square. Went inside as well. It's a stone warren of small chapels, decorated with carvings and artefacts with high ceilings reaching up to the onion domes above. It's been around a fair while - since 1561 to be precise. Built for Ivan the Terrible who (allegedly) killed the architects afterwards. Terrible!
