Chairs by Thomas Heatherwick at the V & A

I went to the amazing Ball Gowns exhibition at the V & A today - probably my favourite of all museums in London. There was also a smaller exhibition of work by Thomas Heatherwick - a multi talented designer who experiments with all sorts of materials and finds small, insignificant forms of all kinds; natural and man made and then sets about up-sizing them into buildings or structures like bridges..... A really inspiring day.....
