Life is a Minestrone !!

I imagine that during the winter months there must be a huge amount of water that rushes down from the mountains, down through the valley below the villa and into the sea beyond Torrox and Torrox costa.
There are numerous drainage ditches / gullies of varying sizes that run either side of Torrox, some still have a small amount of water flowing through them, others have trapped pockets of water that will eventually disappear due to the meat.
Thriving in one of the trapped pockets of water were lots of these Terrapins. The water away from the edges of this particular gulley was a bright pea green colour.
Once the terrapins were away from the bank and swimming with their heads out of the water, you couldn't see their shells which were only millimeters away below the surface.
Obviously the water must be in a decent condition, or the terrapins wouldn't be around in such large numbers.
