We rambled through Skye today after staying in a very strange B&B which shall be nameless. No tea and coffee, no TV, no chairs - apart from one office chair - and twin beds of which mine had a bit of a lean to the right! After having a meal out we drove along the cliffs and sat in the car for an hour or two, reading, before it was time to go back to the house and go to bed. If anyone likes this kind of thing, I'll give you the address!

We visited Neist Point, the most westerly point of Skye, and climbed down all those steps to the lighthouse. All automated now and all the accommodation sadly derelict and full of rubbish. I was intrigued by this rather abandoned foghorn - not much use in a fog though!
