Saturday 28 July 2012: Lower than the angels
So, the Olympic opening ceremony. It had to be watched; verdict - I guess I wanted to like it more than I did. I think I missed a bit not really hearing the music properly LOUDLY on tv as you probably did at the stadium. And the interminable traipsing in of the teams would do anyone's nut in.
Talking of which, today featured a trip to Rufford Hall. For the elderly. The Leeds-Liverpool canal which ran alongside the place seemed deeply inviting. A way out.
Right. Time for a well deserved little glass...
