Saturday 28 July 2012: Protection at EC20
A few handwheels in the condensate system at unit EC 20.
The orange protectors are there to cover the valvespindles which are covered with grease.
The insulated valves in the foreground are located in the system after the first preheaters.
To show the size of the handwheels: compare them to the size of my helmet.
(with clamp-on ear protectors).
When the unit was in operation, one could not walk around there without any means of ear-protection.
Now: it's a piece of industrial heritage....
Better in LARGE....
