Return of the Tree Fellas

The Tree Fellas returned to Arnside on Wednesday evening for more adventures with the Photographer Fella and the Wifie Fellaress. The Photographer Fella is a bit behind with his blips, and will make an effort tomorrow to document the arboreal epic of Thursday and the limestone trotting/bog hopping adventure on Friday.

The biggest of the two little fellas is no longer a little fella, and as seen here is distinctly bigger than the Wifie. In fact the bigger fella will soon be the biggest fella, as he is now only about 1 mm short of the photographer fella.

The littlest fella still has a passion for deer, so this morning after breakfast, we ventured out to the Dallam Deer Park. Our visit was perfectly timed to coincide with the heaviest shower of the day - once we were out of easy retreating distance. We hopped and skipped back from tree to tree until we reached the final tree seen here. The photographer fella then had to make the final dash to the car and return to rescue the adventurers. We hadn't seen a deer, so we went for a little drive around the perimeter of the Park until we found the big fallow bucks, and the littlest fella was happy.

The little fellas' Mum and Dad arrived in the afternoon to pick them up. This was their first visit to the house of the Photographer and Wifie for x years, and in the meantime there have been changes - which did excite some interest in the big Farmer Fella. A walk over the Knott, a meal in the Ship, and we waved goodbye to the tree fellas until the next adventure. We are happily exhausted.
