Tuesday 24 July 2012: A Seat in the Forest

Day 5

A visit to the Ospreys at the RSPB hide at Loch Garten. Two females chicks have survived, and now fledged. Not fishing by themselves yet, so Dad had just delivered a fish to the nest. Really good to see the birds live on the big screen.

This new seat is on the pathway up to the hide. I like the woodland scene carved into it.

We had another visit to view the steam train before heading north to the Black Isle for a few days.
