Who Knew?

I am always amazed to see insects up close and find that they are actually covered in fur.  I spent a ridiculous amount of time at the butterfly bush today trying to capture this little creature in flight but I was quite unsuccessful.  They are only about 1/2 inch long and are really fast.  It would be gone before I could push the shutter button. I think it is a long-legged fly of some sort.  Please correct me if I am wrong.
