Z is for Zany

and that's what this week-end has been! If you would have told me yesterday I would be taking photos of bees 100 miles from home next to a bike trail today, I would have said "No way, Jose!!"

But the truth is, we packed our bicycles and headed north last night at 4 p.m.! We had a wonderful ride near the "Tridge"...a three-way bridge over the intersection of two rivers, and finished just as dusk was falling. We explored the town, and this afternoon went back to the Tridge and watched some butterflies and bees.

So this is a zany bee
that I never thought I would see
as he lives 100 miles from me
I just wish the trip had been free.....
