A Catalan Village

Perxe de Ca Felip

One of many perxes around the village, which I believe mark the old entrances through the village walls but which are a tourist attractions nowadays, although the surrounding houses are still lived in.

A perxe is a stretch of street covered with stone arches and wooden beams, joining several houses, and the ones in our village were constructed roughly from the 13th to 17th centuries.
