Bald Eagle

Festival

We had some distinguished guests learning the ropes on the Ambergate mini ring on the festival field this afternoon.

It has been a busy day. First thing I helped to assemble the mini ring before heading off to do two tours at Speke. The journey back was a nightmare as one lane on the bridge was closed. So a journey that normally takes about 30 minutes took me two hours!

I headed straight back to the festival field and had a couple of rings before it was time to start dismantling the ring.

This evening we are heading to the walled garden for a picnic performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Let's hope that this summer night stays dry as there have been showers all day.

Tomorrow we will ring as usual in the morning then in the afternoon we will be showing people around our tower and the newly installed bells. Unfortunately they will not be able to hear them as we still cannot ring them until about Christmas time.
