Monday 30 July 2012: Fox and Fisherman
full blown glory
I had my 70-300mm lens on the camera and almost in a perfect position to shoot the posing foxes - both of them in the shot. But a truck came barreling down the road and pulled in right in front of me. It was a fisherman and his boat. He stopped where I was to use the potable john as we call them here. Now I knew I had to have a quick glance at his license plates. There was no way he was local. Locals walk off into the woods for that sort of thing - much cleaner than those nasty johns! So lost the fox shot today but they are as interested in me as I am in them so I am sure at some point I will get a few good poses.
The fisherman made it up to me by motoring into my shots. It was the least he could do. Narrowed down to 40 keepers so will enjoy doing some more editing later today in between doing my collar and leash catalog and painting my outside doors (TARDIS blue and the color is smashingly beautiful!). I chose this shot to Blip strictly for the drama. I love the metallic colors to it! Gotta love filters :-)
