Maroon

I always like to grow at least one row of maroon sweet peas. This year I decided to fall back on Windsor - widely regarded as one of the most reliable Spencer-type maroons. However my germination rate was well below expectations. Roger Parsons, my seed supplier, sent me Magnificent Maroon as a replacement. Its a new variety, not as dark as Windsor, but with large flowers and a rich colour.
