Serena

We had a brilliant afternoon watching two ladies quarter-final matches on Centre Court at Wimbledon this afternoon. Whilst neither match (Simona Halep v Angelique Kerber & Serena Williams v Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova) reached the heights of tension and excitement, the quality of play was very high and it is great to be at the live event to appreciate the speed and skill involved in the professional game. Plus of course Wimbledon is a very special place indeed, and Pimms featured during our visit. I was pleased with this photo of Serena in action given that our seats were towards the back of the stand. She truly is an impressive athlete.
