Monday 30 July 2012: Bigger on the inside
It been a day of knitting, which is nice.
To prepare for the knitting we took the dogs down the beach this morning and then Thom and I headed up the coast for a playdate with big and little Sheeple. It was good fun and completely tired out Thom.
Then for tea had toad in the hole with some of the pea harvest from the garden before going back out again for knitting with the West Kilbride crew.
I'm currently knitting for the Racellenics (run through a group on Ravelry where you challenge yourself to knit/spin/crochet/weave during the Olympics) a shawl using the pattern Bigger on the Inside from knitty using lovely shiny Tardis yarn from Old Maiden Aunt. It's coming along fine now after the disastrous start during the opening ceremony. I'm hoping that there is a chance I can get it done before the Olympics finish.
