Tuesday 31 July 2012: So I went to church !!

I had a dentist appointment this morning but I was early so thought I'd check out our local church which is just up the road . I've tried many times taking photos from outside but it's really I'm sorry to say not a very pretty church .I think it's 14th century and had bits added on over the years . Well I decided to pop inside today and was surprised to find that in fact it's very beautiful inside , small but big enough for our town . I took lots of photos but not many were that good due to the lighting and this has to be my choice . It's something different from me so makes a change .
Now the dentist is a new guy to me , I'm having a broken tooth fixed . I had an injection and couldn't feel a thing but he insisted on showing me in detail his drills every time he went about his job and this was not necessary I don't need to know and politely told him so , which he seemed to find amusing . Oh well 2 more visits so we will see if he's got the message .
This afternoon I'm hoping if it doesn't rain to attack a border that is rather overgrown with rose suckers and weeds I've been avoiding it for weeks but it's got to be done .
