Not unfortunately where Tricia's brother lives but a local pile with Capability Brown sculpted grounds we toured around in the morning along with the village of Weatherby. Amazingly Weatherby is twinned with Privas - a relatively big town not far from us in the Ardeche.
Back then to Leeds Bradford airport with the excitements of returning a hired car to see what faults they could find - fortuitously none on this occasion - and then waiting around in a crowded, stuffy, small and cramped airport full of Brits in all their holiday finery - all very elegant.
A relief to arrive in airy Montpellier in the evening cool landing alongside an etang full of Flamingoes. Two and a half hours later on almost empty roads we were home having pizzad at the roadside on the way.
