Another day, another march

The clerics, theologians,lawyers, merchants and medics who gathered to talk in Parliament Sq and to worship in St Giles, the medieval monks whose mother houses were in France, and the mercenary soldiers who formed most of the early armed forces: they all knew very well how European they were.
