Dahlia

After nearly 7 years on the waiting list #2 daughter has been given 2 raised beds, she is waiting for an allotment but these are certainly better than nothing.,  She is so excited.  In the past 3 weeks she has worked wonders getting them weed free and planted.  She accepts the planting is late but "nothing ventured nothing gained".

We are up bringing various tools garnered from our sheds and her Uncle's shed.  Another of the "jobs" we are going to be doing is fery her on a tour of all the local garden centres seeing what is what and transporting things which need a car.

At our last port of call Clickychick got into a long conversation with one of the ladies working there (why am I not surprised).  While she was talking I wandered around taking shots of anything which caught my eye.  That part of the centre was a mass of bright Dahlia flowers so this stunning pink one has been chosen.
