Every Birthday that Sophie has brings back emotional memories for me and my family.... She was gravely ill after birth and as a one off, dreadful twist of fate she suffered bilateral punctured lungs and without all the details, she was given a 10% chance of survival......

however, she was a little miracle and before us today we have a funny, sweet, intelligent little girl who makes us laugh everyday! I think that every Birthday she has, even when we are all old and grey, we will spend a moment to reflect, and be very thankful....
