Wednesday 1 August 2012: Flower within a flower
Some of the blooms on my hydrangea are as big as dinner plates and I noticed the delicate structure of each individual flower this morning on a brief foray into the garden before settling down for a day of sport. I am quite exhausted after rowing with the fantastic Glover and Stanning - it takes the ladies to show the way to a gold medal. Settling down now to cycle with Wiggins - go Bradley. Follow that with gymnastics and swimming - go Jemma in the 200 metre butterfly final. Quite a day.
