Enjoy the difference of culture

According to my experience, women are more curious than men especially in the field of eating.

I heard that this menu ( hot vit lon ) had a honor of a meal, the first prize of ten most horrifying meals in the world. 

It is the boiled fertilized duck egg that is partway incubated. I knew this menu when I read a novel  in which a Japanese writer had a Vietnamese wife, and he explained  this menu in detail, so I remembered this meal vividly. ( It was about 30 years ago.) 

But many Japanese like eggs and hardly feel uncomfortable eating law or soft-boiled egg. So, I think that we have no reason to interfere the culture of eating in other countries. 

When my friend suggested to me to try it, I willingly accepted it, and the taste was alike that of Shanghai crabs or preserved duck egg. To decrease its impact ( may be ) it was not half boiled but hard boiled, so we could not find out the figure of fertilized duck and sip the soup in a shell.

In conclusion, it was an interesting experience but I will not order the same menu when I have a chance to go to a Vietnam restaurant sooner or later. Because it was not so delicious, only to offer us one of the interesting topics.
