Wednesday 1 August 2012: Anyone for a swing?
Had some work near Loweswater this morning so afterwards went for a short walk by the lake. I walked as far as the swing in the woods as there's a nice view from there. If you spot a small blob of orange on the edge of the Lake its gladiolia which I assume somebody put there for some reason or other. I was lucky with the weather as the rain held off until I was more or less back at the car.
On the way out of the woods I saw a group of people with cameras and tripods and said hello to them and then realised after I'd gone by that it was probably a fellow blipper, John Gravett as I know he takes groups out in the area. Here's his blip for today. A wet day at Loweswater
