A Day Worth Recording

Hug

A well deserved end-of-festival Molly side hug following their final performance this afternoon.

They'd been worked pretty hard - dancing practically all day both days, plus one evening spot - but the pacing of the dance spots had been fair, and well organised.

We packed away the tent in the morning, which turned out to be wise as the heavens opened late morning, in the middle of a clog-morris display. The adjacent pub rapidly filled with two sides (who I gather danced inside the pub for a bit) and an Art Shop was filled with Mollies (which seems somehow appropriate).

The trip back was OK. Glad I kept awake (as I was driving) - no-one else did! The evening was a bit hectic as S arrived back from Ireland and Margaret and her son Peter (and Piglet) arrived from Wales, for the trip to the Olympics tomorrow.

Peter was somewhat awestruck at the size of J's lego collection... and took a while to get to bed.
