Sunday in London

The streets were heaving with tourists so we decided to do one of the things on our “list”. We visited the Churchill War Rooms and the Churchill Museum, which are superbly set out and a fascinating experience. Well worth the visit.
 
After six hours of sitting at the athletics yesterday, it was time for a good walk so we continued on to St James’s Park (just across the road). The birds were a pleasure to see, they are so used to the public, of all ages, so quite happy to pose for the happy snappers.
 
I’ve included a variety of my favourites.
 
We went back to the Club to collect the case before heading to Kings Cross to get the train home.
    
A most enjoyable weekend made all the better with beautiful sunshine. B’s Christmas present has been thoroughly enjoyed.
