Thursday 2 August 2012: Haugesund
The weather forecast was for rain and thunder today so we thought we'd head for Haugesund about 10 miles north of where we are staying.
Very similar to Bergen and Trondheim in that part of the harbour is given over to pleasure craft and the other part fairly industrial. The beauty of these harbours is that they have so many parts to them that they are fascinating to walk round.
Haugesund also busy with shoppers is the main commercial areas.
It hasn't rained yet so here's hoping.
