Veterans Tea Party

Today we, the Royal British Legion Riders from Gloucestershire and Wales, escorted the guests of honour from Gloucester railway station to Ross-on-Wye for an RBL Veterans Tea Party.
The guests of honour, extra photo, were two residents of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
They were taken in the car of the RBL Chairman and the riders were front and rear for the 20 mile journey to Ross.
At the tea party the riders, as usual, helped with serving of tea, coffee and plates of sandwiches and cakes, including cream scones which I managed to resist!
We had a Frank Sinatra impressionist and the Forest of Dean male voice choir to entertain us as well as the usual raffle to raise money for the poppy appeal.

I won a 'Baylis & Harding' foot treatment package in the raffle so I'll treat Marlane to a foot rub this evening :-)
