North Uist

We saw the steam train again, this time arriving in Mallaig at lunchtime, just before we boarded our ferry for Armadale in Skye. We had a fabulously sunny crossing and a wee wander around Armadale before heading up to Portree. We spent some time looking around the shops and having coffee at the Granary before driving around to Uig to get our second ferry of the day to Lochmaddy in North Uist. Another lovely sunny crossing and a short trip to our home for the next 2 nights. The evening light was lovely when we arrived.
