Friday 3 August 2012: The guest that won't leave
Still in Loch Lomond. My pal's partner's away so she would just be rattling around in her house all alone if I didn't keep her company I tell myself. It's so peaceful by the water. I covet this house.
We went for an early morning walk along part of the West Highland Way but turned back when we started to get soaked (a bit of a grey day with shower bursts). I spotted a Kingfisher, which I've never seen in person before, but no pictures as I was so excited I forgot about the camera. However, this little fellow posed very calmly for both of us on his chosen branch by the water.
