An absolute gem of a day.
Explored rocky beaches (between Auchmithie and Lunan Bay) that I haven't visited for maybe 20 years.  A long-ish access walk and a  difficult scramble down onto them, but we were rewarded with a pod of dolphins cruising past, stacks of fire wood (we made a huge fire), caves, arches and loads of wild & wonderful sea-junk. 
The kids were busy making elaborate contraptions from the assorted random junk, and could have stayed for days...
