Father's Day

I missed my Father's Day blip in favor of posting for my last visit with Grandma. My grandfather took me in when he was 54 years old. I can't imagine what it's like to have a child let alone at 54. He taught me everything, he spent time with me, he encouraged me to do well in school, and most of all he was my best friend, father, and grandfather. This Father's Day was my 9th without him here with me. I sure do miss that man and wish that I could be half the man that he was.
