Friday 3 August 2012: Oh The Irony

After my Epic Blip Fail at the start of the week the very bird that I mis-ID'd on Tuesday actually turned up on the lawn this evening.

This is a juvenile Chaffinch! It's been a good day for youngsters in the garden today. A fresh batch of House Sparrows turned up, and the Bullfinches have one chick in the garden. I hope that the weather stays kind to them and they can get a good start to life!
