Reckonnoiter

Getting involved with fellow suspect freespiral and an archaeologist friend on a bit of a project on cottages and farmhouses on the peninsula! My friend and neighbour took us all to see some abandoned 19th century farmsteads on his property. This small cottage was very overgrown indeed. We will be back with spades, loppers and a tape measure!
An equally enjoyable afternoon trying to photograph and identify butterflies, please see my extra image and as I haven't got around to identifying this one yet, help would be welcome?
