A busy Friday

Today was an extra busy one as I have friends coming for dinner this evening and I'm  rather out of practice at preparing for such things with a little one at my feet!  Fortunately Violet's uncle, my son, was on hand to occupy her while I worked. Yesterday he was at Lords with Violet's granddad and here Violet is modelling( very sweetly I think) the hat that he bought there.
