We had guests for dinner, and served them our version of Icelandic meat soup, which was more like a lamb stew, very nice (I think!). When I look at the table, I see it has stuff from all over the world, the place mats are from Paris, the serving dish is Polish, the side plates are from South Africa, and the soup bowls are from Ikea in Iceland.
