Sunday 5 August 2012: Nearly there
Mr H is celebrating his birthday a day in advance. There is no way I could make a cake on Monday night. So we started earlier.
The cake is, as usual, borrowed from Nigella - Devil's Food Cake. I made it for the first time and it is good. Lots of chocolate. The icing is so good, it could be eaten by itself. I am pleased to say that my efforts were rewarded with the family's approval and clean plates.
