Saturday 4 August 2012: Golden GB Day
Amazing day of British success at the Olympics...Rowing, Cycling and an epic evening at the stadium, with Jess Ennis (Heptathlon), Greg Rutherford (Long Jump) and Mo Farrah (10000m) winning gold.
The day started with a lovely river dog walk with the gang (and coffee) at Sonning, but much of the rest of the day was spent staring at the laptop trying to get Olympics tickets. So many times I got this screen...wait 10 minutes, and then, no joy. I did eventually land 2 tickets for Athletics at the Paralympics so will get a chance to go into the stadium and visit the olympic park.
