Patchwork

The former LNWR (London & North Western Railway) railway bridge in Trumpington that has been re-used by the Guide Bus. From the road side there's not much evidence of repair, but from this side it's clear they needed to fix quite a lot of the brickwork.

Went to Meeting this morning, for the first time for a long time. It was mostly silent, but with a single, emotional ministry by one Friend reflecting on the suicide of a young relation.

I removed half a plum tree this afternoon, and thereby sourced a section of trunk for S to 'plant' mushroom spores in that he'd brought E for Christmas - or was it birthday - some time ago either way. They now need to mature in a plastic bag for two months, then get buried in a trench. It may be some time before we're eating them...
