Live it loud!

Through the window.

It is in fact a shelter in the garden at Cannon's Ashby. Completely open on the left hand side.

I just liked the texture and lines on the boards.

A lovely afternoon wander and tea and cake in the tea room. We were left somewhat perplexed and annoyed as we tried to leave though.

It was quite busy when we arrived (in Gail's car) and the car park was full, but, there was plenty of space on the very wide grass verge out on the road.

However, when we got back to the car, we were completely surrounded and hemmed in. Some rather dim witted visitors had decided that they could park anywhere they liked. Four cars has parked completely across the exit for 6 others!

If we had been in the Freelander I could have simply driven over the bank and down on to the road. But, with only 3" ground clearance, we were not going anywhere and taking all the car with us.

When we got back to the car and elderly couple had already been waiting for 20 minutes. They were already mightily upset as you can imagine.

It took twenty minutes for the helpful guy on the gate to find one of the errant drivers. When one of them returned he was completely oblivious to the fact that irrespective of the car parked immediately behind ours that he had still trapped five cars, but instead. blamed everyone else.

It was a nice sunny afternoon so I resisted verbal fisticuffs or taking to him with a wheel brace. It was a nice drive home even if somewhat later than planned.

As it happened, it was the annual rally for the Rover P5 society. The additional photos are some of the examples of this motoring icon. There must have been 40 or more examples there. Great show.
