The Abraham Ormerod Medical Centre
The Abraham Ormerod Medical Centre was built as a gift from the local family who ran Todmorden mills, opened in 1939 by the Princess Royal.
The Abraham Ormerod Medical Centre is best know for its links to Dr. Harold Shipman. As this is where he entered into General Practice and is thought to have started his killings.
