Monday 6 August 2012: Pit stop

Well even athletes eat cake sometimes... Busy morning at orthoptist for the boys then audiology for poorly boy. It's been agreed to trial hearing aids as his levels aren't getting any better. He uses over 150 spontaneous signs and just 25 spoken words (that only we understand) so I hope that hearing aids will even him out a bit.

Dewaxing his ears ready for ear mould impressions was just a step too far for him though so we'll have to go back with mr mc to provide the muscles required for holding him down!!

It's a week full of nasty appointments for us all. Dentist, injections, ears, eyes and feet. A nice weekend in London is going to be well earned!
