Monday 6 August 2012: Is the summer finally here?
A different type of #leithwalkshops? I always think there is something hopeful about the fact that Vittoria keeps its outside tables there even in quite grim and cold weather, but today is one of the few days in this Edinburgh summer when you might want to eat outside. Even so, I'm not sure I would want to eat just next to all the traffic on Leith Walk.
Good bit of detail and narrative in this photo. The waiter had previously just stomped inside sniffing at a glass of wine that had clearly been rejected, and carrying the bottle under his arm. Here he is again pulling the cork on a new bottle.
Just back from a trip to Edinburgh College of Art to talk to colleagues about using animation in the context of disseminating research. Very interesting.
