An ordinary life....

The Ladder..

No matter how successful you are at the top of the ladder, there's always someone at the bottom helping to keep you up there :D

David here today as Support Worker Karen had a dental appointment.  A few errands run, a driveway full of builder's vans, phone calls to GP, Gastro Nurse and prescription line, time spent with my boy who is in good form despite the pain and discomfort he's in, holiday planning started (there are lists!) small dent in the ironing pile made, weekend plans firmed up, dinner of chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella, basil and parmesan, rosemary potatoes and grilled asparagus with butter, garlic and sesame seeds made from scratch and glass of chilled Pino Grigio.

Now feet up at last.

David is watching Die Hard for the millionth time whilst I come to terms with just finding out that my niece Jennifer's best pal Rebecca, who we've known since she was a pre-schooler and has come on holiday with us many times, is going to be a mum!

I really do now officially feel old!
